Christian Horner believes that Alexander Albon can leave the Brazilian Grand Prix with pride despite not having a podium finish.
“Albon looked really comfortable fighting with World Champions, and it’s huge shame for him to lose that podium,” said Horner.
“Lewis apologised after the race but it doesn’t get Alex’s podium back,”
“OK, he didn’t get the trophy but he’s impressed the whole team with his performance and again, it’s an encouraging signal for next year.”
“I think it’s very clear for everyone to see,” the Red Bull boss added.
“Alex Albon is now on the level with Lewis and Vettel fighting after fighting them wheel-to-wheel at the Brazilian GP,”
“He’s impressed his whole team with his race craft,” added Horner.
